Make a commitment . Take action. Deal with any setbacks. Re-Commit. Take Action.

Last night I watched The Opus for the second time. I am so impressed with the depth of information and insights from the multitude of speakers.

The movie is so well balanced with the story thread running through it to keep the message sequence clear and consolidating the teachings of the Opus masters. The messages and teachings are so clearly illustrated that they become locked in to your subconscious mind.

The line up of speakers on The Opus is pretty incredible. Each one had some incredible insights and some very powerful stories.

Like the story from Morris Goodman ‘The Miracle Man’. Morris is not reliving his story of surviving an air crash, and the incredible odds that he had to beat to survive. Rather on The Opus, Maurice shares some of the mind processes that it takes to value your life and create your own Opus.

His insights are so powerful. Having only been left with the ability to blink his eyes, Maurice shares how powerful the mind can be in overcoming odds that to most would seem humanly impossible.

The amazing thing for me was that The Secret was able to cross boundaries that no other self help or personal development materials had ever crossed before. The Opus I believe will have a more far reaching effect through its shear ability to take us from the vision that has been given to each and every one of us and show us how to manifest our visions – to make a difference.

The Secret made its way into homes across the world of people who would never have dreamed of going into a self help/new age or personal development section of any book store. The Secret swept the world like a phenomena and enlightened us as a ‘collective conscience’ to the power of the universal law of attraction.

I just recently saw the Secret and although I liked it, I would have to say that from a technical point of view and as a viewer The Opus is a stronger movie. And here’s a reasons why:

The Opus had a brilliant narrative running through out. It got the audience engaged and the narrative also instructed and was relevant to the lessons taught.

The Opus has a progression of concepts, while the Secret shared the same information again and again only with different episodes inside the film. (Many of which did not relate to me at all - ie. A gay commedian, a girl on a beach looking for love, or a guy in his house looking at post cards of elephants.) The Opus is audience sensitive.

The Opus also provided practical, measurable information for the viewer. The Secret spoke about a mysterious law that really is more feeling than anything.
The Opus had appropriate visuals through out, The Secret I felt robbed the vault of stock photography available on the internet to anyone.

The Musical score of the Opus also told the story. It felt custom built, while the Secret felt like it also came from a pre-recorded library.

The Opus did not discount the faith of it’s viewers. Many different thoughts were expressed yet none were discounted. I have read for a long time this battle the Secret created with christians and others. As I watched the film I could really see how the New Age thoughts of The Secret overshadowed their message.

There is a buzz in the air, since the world was exposed to the amazing lessons on the law of attraction through “The Secret” a true masterpiece. The secret opened our eyes to the truth that we can all have prosperity and abundance in our lives if we first create it in our minds.
